TLDR
Fear is the Squad 9 Lieutenant's strength. An all-around talent who excels in Zan Ken So Ki. Can use Special Flash Attacks and Signature Moves to fend off projectiles. His attack power is not the best, but he has excellent, easy-to-use moves that make for reliable performance in battle. A slow starter, the Exclusive Ability 'Fear' shows its true power when used later in battle.
Overview
Lieutenant of Squad 9 and skilled journalist for the Seireitei Communication magazine. Despite his fierce appearance, Hisagi is a thoughtful warrior who fears his own power and strives to embody justice in his former Captain's place after his betrayal. As a Hybrid Range fighter, he combines precise Melee combat with Ranged attacks and Kido abilities. His 'Fear Gauge` mechanic and Ramper playstyle allow him to gradually build momentum through his Zanpakutō Kazeshini's unique properties, growing in strength as Hisagi and his opponent both take damage, creating a devastating slope of suffering. With high Speed and Range, moderate Defense, but lower Power and Technique, Hisagi excels at maintaining pressure through careful positioning and methodical attack patterns, building his strength - and therefore his confidence - slowly but surely.
